Es gibt pro Jahr derzeit mindestens 2 Humus-Feste sicher. Es kann aber auch locker 8 oder mehr in allen Himmelsrichtungen geben.
Your best chance to take part is to be part of it!
At the Early Spring Thing, which always takes place at the beginning of March, the fate of the current Humus year is decided. But don't panic, you can of course also participate if you can't come to the Pre-Spring-Thing.
Well, ready for a bit of co-creation?
Humus is self-organised and self-regulating - a kind of anarchy, so to speak.
The structure we use is based on sociocracy, dragon dreaming, social permaculture and wilderness awareness.
No previous experience necessary!
Hej, du zukünftige*r Humi! Hier ein paar „hard facts“ zum Fest auf einen Blick:
Have you ever wondered how much money you will need for this unforgettable experience?
First of all, the registration fee. This is between 30€ and 50€, depending on how generous you want to be. I call this the "cost recovery price aka solo donation".
The other costs that arise during the week, such as food, gas bottles, luxury food, speakers' allowances, etc., are transparently presented to everyone by the finance crew so that we can support ourselves by means of conditional donations. You can decide for yourself into which pot you want to give how much money.
For food, the costs are predicted to be around 3€ per person, per meal.
So don't forget to bring some hand money! But don't worry, you definitely won't have to spend more than 100€.
If you can't afford the registration fee but still want to be there, feel free to contact the registration crew. We will surely find a solution together!
If you still have questions about money management, check out the Humus guides.
So you festival-hungry creature!
When it comes to food, all you have to do at the Humus Festival is let your mouth water. There is a hard-working cook-crew that takes care of our physical well-being and provides us with wholesome catering - and in the best case completely from rescued food from foodsharing and containers. Yummy!
And since we are all working towards a green future, all food at the festival will be vegetarian and vegan.
If you are thirsty, you can either bring your own needs or get together with others and start a donation pot for drinks, especially juices, mineral water or beer.
By the way, if you have special needs, such as allergies or intolerances, please let the registration crew know when you register so that we can take them into account.
Oh, and also very important: please bring your own cutlery and crockery. A knife, a fork, a plate, a cup and a bowl should be enough. Together we will make the Humus Festival a treat!
Well, are you in the mood for a full programme?
At the Humus Festival you can expect a varied programme of introductory courses, workshops, lectures and communal celebrations.
Especially exciting are the introductory courses in permaculture, wilderness knowledge, food sharing and FLAKE, where you can learn valuable knowledge and practical tips.
Do you have individual needs or want to focus on specific topics? Then contact the programme crew or join them!
Of course, you are also very, very welcome to offer workshops and lectures yourself.
But the community should not be neglected either - here you can get together, share, celebrate and just hang out.
What could be better than sitting around a campfire and listening to unplugged bands or jam sessions?
And should your favourite crew not be there yet? Then found one!
Hey, you are a permaculture enthusiast and want to take your skills to the next level?
At the festival you can become part of the permaculture crew and realise your own projects.
The Permaculture Crew supports the Permaculture Space and the Design Workshop. This means that you can not only learn from the experienced permaculture experts, but also implement your own ideas and thus represent permaculture at the festival. How cool is that?
For example, you can go through a design process with the crew for the design workshop and host your own interim presentation or accreditation if you are studying at the Permaculture Academy.
But that's not all!
You can also lead your own workshops and thus gain your first teaching experience. Who knows, maybe you will become the next permaculture superhero!
And what would a festival be without networking and learning interesting things? The permaculture crew offers you lots of opportunities to get in touch with other permaculture enthusiasts and learn new things. Of course, this applies to all crews!
So what are you waiting for? Join the permaculture crew and let's make the festival the greenest place on earth together!
Are you a nature fanatic and want to share your love of wilderness with others?
The Wilderness-Circle is perfect for those who want to give something back to nature and represent it at the festival. Here you can bring your skills to bear and show others how they can once again take a deep look into nature's multi-faceted book.
But that's not all! By participating in the Wilderness-Circle, you also have the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with like-minded people from your network. Together you can share your love of nature and show others how important it is to be mindful of the environment.
Are you a fan of foodsharing and want to inspire others about it?
The Foodsharing Crew is perfect for anyone who wants to properly represent the philosophy behind foodsharing at the festival. If you want to do workshops on upcycling, sharing, food waste or other topics that move you, then the foodsharing crew is the ideal organising group for you.
